In April 2014 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Sale, which included the work "Fyr och fiskebåtar" (Light house and fishing boats) by Primus Mortimer Pettersson. The auction ended at the price of SEK 10,000.00 (€ 1,108.15), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of SEK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Primus Mortimer Pettersson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Soluppgång", which sold at auction in October 2010 for SEK 39,000.00 (€ 4,185.19).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im April 2014 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Fyr och fiskebåtar" (Light house and fishing boats) von Primus Mortimer Pettersson zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 10.000,00 (€ 1.108,15) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Primus Mortimer Pettersson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Soluppgång" beobachtet, die im Oktober 2010 für SEK 39.000,00 (€ 4.185,19) versteigert wurde.
