In November 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Garden in Winter, No. 13 by Preston Dickinson for USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,519.74). This price was achieved in the auction An American Place | The Barney A. Ebsworth Collection Day Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Preston Dickinson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life No. 1 in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 665,000.00 (€ 534,651.87).
