Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture, which included the work Autumn Landscape by Porfirio Salinas. The price achieved of USD 6,875.00 (€ 6,159.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Porfirio Salinas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bluebonnet Hill Country in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 43,750.00 (€ 38,761.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Autumn Landscape von Porfirio Salinas zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.875,00 (€ 6.159,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Porfirio Salinas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bluebonnet Hill Country im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 43.750,00 (€ 38.761,41).
