This artwork by Porfirio Salinas achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in April this year. In the Western Art auction, the work Spring Pastoral Landscape with Bluebonnets sold for USD 16,575.00 (€ 15,013.59) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Porfirio Salinas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bluebonnet Hill Country, which sold at auction in November 2021 for USD 43,750.00 (€ 38,761.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Porfirio Salinas erzielte im April diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Western Art wurde die Arbeit Spring Pastoral Landscape with Bluebonnets für USD 16.575,00 (€ 15.013,59) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Porfirio Salinas mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bluebonnet Hill Country beobachtet, die im November 2021 für USD 43.750,00 (€ 38.761,41) versteigert wurde.
