The »bidding war« ended at USD 23,900.00 (€ 18,025.49), 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Porfirio Salinas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bluebonnet Hill Country, which sold at auction in November 2021 for USD 43,750.00 (€ 38,761.41).
