A top price for Porfirio Salinas - as previously expected
In November 2021 Christies in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Bluebonnet Hill Country by Porfirio Salinas. The price achieved of USD 43,750.00 (€ 38,761.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Bluebonnet Hill Country is the most expensive artwork by Porfirio Salinas that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November 2021 führte Christies in New York die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bluebonnet Hill Country von Porfirio Salinas zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 43.750,00 (€ 38.761,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Bluebonnet Hill Country das teuerste Kunstwerk von Porfirio Salinas, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
