Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Au Café by Peter Alexandrovitch Nilouss was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in February 2009. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,910.44) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Alexandrovitch Nilouss achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Three Women In The Park in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 67,250.00 (€ 85,006.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Au Café von Peter Alexandrovitch Nilouss kam im Februar 2009 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 6.910,44) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Alexandrovitch Nilouss erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Three Women In The Park im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 67.250,00 (€ 85.006,25).
