Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Signora Col Cappello by Pietro Scoppetta for EUR 2,750.00. This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century Paintings and Sculpture at Sothebys in Milan and was even below the estimate range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pietro Scoppetta achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vue du port d'Amalfi in December 2004 with an auction result of EUR 32,900.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Signora Col Cappello von Pietro Scoppetta für EUR 2.750,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century Paintings and Sculpture bei Sothebys in Mailand erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pietro Scoppetta erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vue du port d'Amalfi im Dezember 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 32.900,00.
