The work Le Parc Monceau ; Pavillon À L'Exposition Universelle by Pietro Scoppetta was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in June 2008. It achieved a price of EUR 7,500.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50 %. Admittedly, works by Pietro Scoppetta have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vue du port d'Amalfi in December 2004 with an auction result of EUR 32,900.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Le Parc Monceau ; Pavillon À L'Exposition Universelle von Pietro Scoppetta kam im Juni 2008 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 7.500,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pietro Scoppetta auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Vue du port d'Amalfi im Dezember 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 32.900,00.
