Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work An Elegant Lady by Pietro Scoppetta for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,536.29). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors including The Collection of the Late Serge Baillache at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pietro Scoppetta achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vue du port d'Amalfi in December 2004 with an auction result of EUR 32,900.00.

Im Mai 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit An Elegant Lady von Pietro Scoppetta für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.536,29) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors including The Collection of the Late Serge Baillache bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pietro Scoppetta erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vue du port d'Amalfi im Dezember 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 32.900,00.
