Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Giovane donna dai capelli rossi by Pietro Scoppetta was auctioned at Christies in Rome in May 2002. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 4,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 4,712.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Pietro Scoppetta have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vue du port d'Amalfi in December 2004 with an auction result of EUR 32,900.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Giovane donna dai capelli rossi von Pietro Scoppetta kam im Mai 2002 bei Christies in Rom zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 4.712,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pietro Scoppetta auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Vue du port d'Amalfi im Dezember 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 32.900,00.
