Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Drawings, which included the work The Holy Family Enthroned In The Clouds, With A Monk In Adoration by Pietro Antonio Novelli. The price achieved of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,414.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pietro Antonio Novelli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Neptune, Standing, Facing Left, A Dolphin At His Feet , which sold at auction in July 2007 for GBP 11,400.00 (€ 16,931.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Holy Family Enthroned In The Clouds, With A Monk In Adoration von Pietro Antonio Novelli zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.414,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Pietro Antonio Novelli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Neptune, Standing, Facing Left, A Dolphin At His Feet beobachtet, die im Juli 2007 für GBP 11.400,00 (€ 16.931,63) versteigert wurde.
