Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2013 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters& 19th Century Art - including Dutch Impressionism., which included the work Soldiers Playing Cards In An Interior by Pieter Jansz. Quast. The price achieved of EUR 6,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pieter Jansz. Quast have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Kartenspieler in einer Wachstube. 1636. in March 2018 with an auction result of CHF 60,500.00 (€ 51,518.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2013 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters& 19th Century Art - including Dutch Impressionism. durch, in der auch die Arbeit Soldiers Playing Cards In An Interior von Pieter Jansz. Quast zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pieter Jansz. Quast auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Kartenspieler in einer Wachstube. 1636. im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 60.500,00 (€ 51.518,30).
