The auction ended at the price of USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,446.88), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pieter de Molijn have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A winter village landscape with peasants on a frozen waterway in December 2019 with an auction result of GBP 75,000.00 (€ 88,641.22).
