Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Flemish Country Fair by Pieter Bout was sold in the Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in December 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 14,482.48) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Pieter Bout have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Winter Landscape With Figures Strolling And Unloading A Cart Outside The Walls of A Town, Skating And Sleighing On A Frozen River Nearby in November 2005 with an auction result of EUR 84,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Flemish Country Fair von Pieter Bout wurde im Dezember 2014 in der Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 14.482,48) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
