Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Un Faucon Gardant Un Trophée De Chasse by Pieter Boel was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in June 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 22,350.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Pieter Boel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Swan, Rabbit And Other Game With A Parrot, Dogs, Fruit And Metalwork In A Classical Landscape in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 149,000.00 (€ 110,370.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Un Faucon Gardant Un Trophée De Chasse von Pieter Boel kam im Juni 2008 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 22.350,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pieter Boel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Swan, Rabbit And Other Game With A Parrot, Dogs, Fruit And Metalwork In A Classical Landscape im Januar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 149.000,00 (€ 110.370,37).
