In November 2014 Artcurial held the auction Old Master and 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, Sculptures, which included the work Composition Au Perroquet, À La Viole Et Au Bouquet De Fleurs by Pieter Boel. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 35,100.00 40% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pieter Boel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Swan, Rabbit And Other Game With A Parrot, Dogs, Fruit And Metalwork In A Classical Landscape, which sold at auction in January 2014 for USD 149,000.00 (€ 110,370.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 40 % übertroffen
Im November 2014 führte Artcurial die Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, Sculptures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition Au Perroquet, À La Viole Et Au Bouquet De Fleurs von Pieter Boel zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 35.100,00 und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Pieter Boel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Swan, Rabbit And Other Game With A Parrot, Dogs, Fruit And Metalwork In A Classical Landscape beobachtet, die im Januar 2014 für USD 149.000,00 (€ 110.370,37) versteigert wurde.
