Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Studies Of An Owl And Other Birds by Pieter Boel for GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,832.39). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Paintings at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pieter Boel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Swan, Rabbit And Other Game With A Parrot, Dogs, Fruit And Metalwork In A Classical Landscape in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 149,000.00 (€ 110,370.37).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Studies Of An Owl And Other Birds von Pieter Boel für GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.832,39) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master Paintings bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pieter Boel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Swan, Rabbit And Other Game With A Parrot, Dogs, Fruit And Metalwork In A Classical Landscape im Januar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 149.000,00 (€ 110.370,37).
