Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A young lady, facing right in low-cut lace-bordered cream dress with white-lined green-brown overdress with loose lacing, gauze scarf draped around her shoulders, long powdered upswept hair by Pierre Rouvier was sold in the Miniatures auction at Christies in London in May 2000. The price achieved of GBP 2,350.00 (€ 3,770.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pierre Rouvier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Unknown in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,594.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.350,00 (€ 3.770,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pierre Rouvier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Unknown im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 16.594,71).
