It achieved a price of USD 10,625.00 (€ 7,618.13), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 52%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Pierre Lesieur; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Living Room Interior sold at auction in April 2008 with the realized price of USD 17,500.00 (€ 11,241.01).
