Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition, Circa 1960 by Pierre Lesieur was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in October 2010. It changed hands for a price of EUR 956.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 800.00 – 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Lesieur achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Living Room Interior in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 17,500.00 (€ 11,241.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition, Circa 1960 von Pierre Lesieur kam im Oktober 2010 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 956,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre Lesieur erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Living Room Interior im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 11.241,01).
