Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Les Moissonneurs by Pierre Eugène Montézin was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in December 2021. The price achieved of USD 5,670.00 (€ 5,009.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Eugène Montézin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nymphéas in March last year with an auction result of EUR 214,200.00.
