This artwork by Pierre Eugène Montézin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in March last year. In the Modern Art auction, the work La Promenade Des Anglais, Nice sold for EUR 12,464.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Eugène Montézin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nymphéas in March last year with an auction result of EUR 214,200.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 78 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pierre Eugène Montézin erzielte im März letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art wurde die Arbeit La Promenade Des Anglais, Nice für EUR 12.464,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre Eugène Montézin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nymphéas im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 214.200,00.
