Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 5,082.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Edouard Frère have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Feeding the children in May 2002 with an auction result of GBP 15,275.00 (€ 23,920.86).
