Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2006 Christies in New York held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art, which included the work Eglise by Pierre Dumont. The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,729.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pierre Dumont have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Normandie, Paysage De Bords De Mer in May 2011 with an auction result of EUR 27,801.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2006 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Eglise von Pierre Dumont zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 4.729,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pierre Dumont auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Normandie, Paysage De Bords De Mer im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 27.801,00.
