In April 2018 Christies in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work L'Omnibus by Pierre Carrier-Belleuse. The »bidding war« ended at USD 106,250.00 (€ 87,999.01), 52% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Pierre Carrier-Belleuse; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Les Plaisirs de Paris' sold at auction in June 2007 with the realized price of EUR 120,000.00.

Im April 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit L'Omnibus von Pierre Carrier-Belleuse zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 106.250,00 (€ 87.999,01) und damit 52% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Pierre Carrier-Belleuse; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Les Plaisirs de Paris' im Juni 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 120.000,00.
