This artwork by Pierre Adolphe Hall achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in July 2019. In the The Pohl-Ströher Collection of Portrait Miniatures Part II auction, the work Portrait Of A Young Lady, Circa 1785 sold for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 20,586.25) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pierre Adolphe Hall - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait De Dominique Vivant Denon (1747-1825), 1786, which sold at auction in June 2010 for EUR 73,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pierre Adolphe Hall erzielte im Juli 2019 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Pohl-Ströher Collection of Portrait Miniatures Part II wurde die Arbeit Portrait Of A Young Lady, Circa 1785 für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 20.586,25) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Pierre Adolphe Hall mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait De Dominique Vivant Denon (1747-1825), 1786 beobachtet, die im Juni 2010 für EUR 73.000,00 versteigert wurde.
