It achieved a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,864.12), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Admittedly, works by Pierre Adolphe Hall have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait De Dominique Vivant Denon (1747-1825), 1786 in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 73,000.00.

Die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady, Circa 1785 von Pierre Adolphe Hall wurde im Dezember 2019 in der Auktion The Pohl-Ströher Collection of Portrait Miniatures, Part III bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.864,12) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pierre Adolphe Hall auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait De Dominique Vivant Denon (1747-1825), 1786 im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 73.000,00.
