Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Of A Lady, Circa 1785 by Pierre Adolphe Hall was sold in the Part I auction at Sothebys in London in December 2018. It changed hands for a price of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,266.75) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Adolphe Hall achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait De Dominique Vivant Denon (1747-1825), 1786 in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 73,000.00.

Die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady, Circa 1785 von Pierre Adolphe Hall wurde im Dezember 2018 in der Auktion Part I bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.266,75) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre Adolphe Hall erzielen.
