Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Group of Eight Themes and Variations Dinner Plates by Piero Fornasetti was sold in the The Collection of Gail Feingarten Oppenheimer auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in March last year. The price achieved of USD 3,187.50 (€ 2,873.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Piero Fornasetti - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A SET OF FOUR 'QUATTRO STAGIONI' CHAIRS, DESIGNED CIRCA 1955, which sold at auction in August 2017 for USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,788.01).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.187,50 (€ 2.873,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden.
