In January 2016 Christies in New York held the auction Old Master and British Drawings, which included the work The Vision Of Saint Jerome by Pier Francesco Mola. The »bidding war« ended at USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,539.88), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pier Francesco Mola achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An artist and a youth in January 2002 with an auction result of USD 3,086,000.00 (€ 3,590,877.36).

Im Januar 2016 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Old Master and British Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Vision Of Saint Jerome von Pier Francesco Mola zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.539,88) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pier Francesco Mola erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit An artist and a youth im Januar 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.086.000,00 (€ 3.590.877,36).
