In June 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Paintings, which included the work Flora And The Infant Bacchus In A Wooded Landscape by Pier Francesco Mola. The »bidding war« ended at USD 56,250.00 (€ 50,430.34), 41% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pier Francesco Mola achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An artist and a youth in January 2002 with an auction result of USD 3,086,000.00 (€ 3,590,877.36).

Im Juni 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flora And The Infant Bacchus In A Wooded Landscape von Pier Francesco Mola zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 50.430,34) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pier Francesco Mola erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit An artist and a youth im Januar 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.086.000,00 (€ 3.590.877,36).
