Auction result well in line with expectations
In December this year Bonhams in Brussels held the auction Belgian and contemporary art, which included the work Sans titre by Philippe Vandenberg. The price achieved of EUR 5,120.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Philippe Vandenberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans Titre - 1987 in July 2020 with an auction result of EUR 52,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Brüssel die Auktion Belgian and contemporary art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans titre von Philippe Vandenberg zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.120,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Philippe Vandenberg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1987 im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 52.000,00.
