A top price for Philippe Garel
In July 2005 Christies in Paris held the auction COLLECTION PATRICE TRIGANO, ITINERAIRE D'UNE PASSION, which included the work L'Africaine by Philippe Garel. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 50,400.00 26% above the upper estimate. With this result, L'Africaine is even the most expensive work of art by Philippe Garel that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Philippe Garel
Im Juli 2005 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion COLLECTION PATRICE TRIGANO, ITINERAIRE D'UNE PASSION durch, in der auch die Arbeit L'Africaine von Philippe Garel zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 50.400,00 und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist L'Africaine sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Philippe Garel, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
