This work without title by Philip von Schantz was sold in the Modern Art + Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2019. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 135,000.00 (€ 12,726.25), 35% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Philip von Schantz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Rensåpa" (Still life with blue berries) in April 2012 with an auction result of SEK 950,000.00 (€ 106,712.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Philip von Schantz wurde im Mai 2019 in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 135.000,00 (€ 12.726,25) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Philip von Schantz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Rensåpa" (Still life with blue berries) im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 950.000,00 (€ 106.712,53).
