Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Egen odling", (Gåsvik). by Philip von Schantz was sold in the Modern Art + Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 100,000.00 – 125,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 105,000.00 (€ 9,898.20) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Philip von Schantz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Rensåpa" (Still life with blue berries) in April 2012 with an auction result of SEK 950,000.00 (€ 106,712.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "Egen odling", (Gåsvik). von Philip von Schantz wurde im Mai 2019 in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 100.000,00 – 125.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 105.000,00 (€ 9.898,20) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Philip von Schantz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Rensåpa" (Still life with blue berries) im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 950.000,00 (€ 106.712,53).
