A top price for Philip van Dijk - as previously expected
In June 2002 Christies in London held the auction PICTURES AND WATERCOLOURS FROM LONGLEAT, which included the work A mother and child with a basket of fruit at a casement by Philip van Dijk. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 21,510.00 (€ 33,271.10) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, A mother and child with a basket of fruit at a casement is the most expensive artwork by Philip van Dijk that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Juni 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion PICTURES AND WATERCOLOURS FROM LONGLEAT durch, in der auch die Arbeit A mother and child with a basket of fruit at a casement von Philip van Dijk zur Versteigerung kam.
