Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,200.00 – 4,500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,525.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Philip van Dijk have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A mother and child with a basket of fruit at a casement in June 2002 with an auction result of GBP 21,510.00 (€ 33,271.10).
