Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Yellow Bar by Philip Tsiàras for GBP 188.00 (€ 255.29). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Philip Tsiàras achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Astrologer (from Topology series) in March this year with an auction result of GBP 126,000.00 (€ 143,349.34).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Yellow Bar von Philip Tsiàras für GBP 188,00 (€ 255,29) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Philip Tsiàras erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Astrologer (from Topology series) im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 126.000,00 (€ 143.349,34).
