Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The artist as a Russian by Philip Sutton was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2007. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 540.00 (€ 794.82). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Philip Sutton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers From Crown House in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 6,500.00 (€ 8,832.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The artist as a Russian von Philip Sutton kam im März 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 540,00 (€ 794,82) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Philip Sutton erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers From Crown House im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.500,00 (€ 8.832,40).
