It changed hands for a price of USD 32,760.00 (€ 27,762.71) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Philip Pearlstein have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Model With Empire State Building in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 170,500.00 (€ 130,791.65).

Die Arbeit Two Models With Old Whirly-Gig: When the Wind Blows the Figure Works von Philip Pearlstein wurde im August 2021 in der Auktion Eclectic | New York bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 32.760,00 (€ 27.762,71) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Philip Pearlstein auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Model With Empire State Building im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 170.500,00 (€ 130.791,65).
