Auction result well in line with expectations
In May this year Phillips in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work Michael Jenson, 19 years old, Dallas, Texas, $20 / Jerry Imel, 18 years old, Wichita, Kansas, $20 by Philip-Lorca diCorcia. The price achieved of GBP 6,985.00 (€ 8,127.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Philip-Lorca diCorcia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Storybook Life (The Complete Series) in September 2017 with an auction result of USD 468,500.00 (€ 396,596.97).

Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Michael Jenson, 19 years old, Dallas, Texas, $20 / Jerry Imel, 18 years old, Wichita, Kansas, $20 von Philip-Lorca diCorcia zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.985,00 (€ 8.127,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden.
