It achieved a price of GBP 12,700.00 (€ 14,776.53), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 59%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Philip-Lorca diCorcia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Storybook Life (The Complete Series) in September 2017 with an auction result of USD 468,500.00 (€ 396,596.97).

Die Arbeit Heads #23 von Philip-Lorca diCorcia wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 12.700,00 (€ 14.776,53) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 59%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Philip-Lorca diCorcia erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Storybook Life (The Complete Series) im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 468.500,00 (€ 396.596,97).
