Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Scarlet macaw with a dove, on a branch; and Red and blue macaw, with a dove, on a branch by Philip Connard was sold in the Sporting Art, Wildlife & Dogs auction at Christies in London in November 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,250.00 (€ 4,550.84) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Philip Connard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kensington Gardens in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 106,100.00 (€ 152,366.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Scarlet macaw with a dove, on a branch; and Red and blue macaw, with a dove, on a branch von Philip Connard wurde im November 2007 in der Auktion Sporting Art, Wildlife & Dogs bei Christies in London versteigert.
