This price was achieved in the auction Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art; Maritime Art; Sporting & Wildlife Art at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 3,500.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Philip Connard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Kensington Gardens in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 106,100.00 (€ 152,366.58).

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art; Maritime Art; Sporting & Wildlife Art bei Christies in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.500,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Philip Connard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Kensington Gardens im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 106.100,00 (€ 152.366,58).
