Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2014 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings, which included the work Underwater by Pham An Hai. The price achieved of HKD 87,500.00 (€ 9,008.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. Other works by Pham An Hai have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2016 the work Incandescent Rays Of The Sun was auctioned for HKD 125,000.00 (€ 14,709.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2014 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Underwater von Pham An Hai zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 87.500,00 (€ 9.008,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Pham An Hai konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2016 die Arbeit Incandescent Rays Of The Sun für HKD 125.000,00 (€ 14.709,91) versteigert.
