Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2017 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art – Day Sale, which included the work Melody Of The Street by Pham An Hai. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,694.07) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Pham An Hai have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2016 the work Incandescent Rays Of The Sun was auctioned for HKD 125,000.00 (€ 14,709.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2017 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art – Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Melody Of The Street von Pham An Hai zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.694,07) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Pham An Hai konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2016 die Arbeit Incandescent Rays Of The Sun für HKD 125.000,00 (€ 14.709,91) versteigert.
