Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2016 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art, which included the work Self-Portrait #2 by Pham An Hai. It changed hands for a price of HKD 87,500.00 (€ 10,296.93) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Other works by Pham An Hai have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2016 the work Incandescent Rays Of The Sun was auctioned for HKD 125,000.00 (€ 14,709.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2016 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Self-Portrait #2 von Pham An Hai zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 87.500,00 (€ 10.296,93) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 70.000,00 – 90.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Pham An Hai konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2016 die Arbeit Incandescent Rays Of The Sun für HKD 125.000,00 (€ 14.709,91) versteigert.
