The auction ended at the price of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,522.73), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Sedgley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Counterpoint in January 2020 with an auction result of GBP 62,500.00 (€ 74,343.05).

Die Arbeit Chinese Pagoda von Peter Sedgley wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Outside In: The Dr. Jeffrey Sherwin Collection bei Christies in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.522,73) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00.
