In May 2021 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction The Curator’s Eye: The Collection of Professor Dr Karin von Maur, which included the work Untitled (Ob-107) by Peter Roehr. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 30,000.00 50% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Peter Roehr; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Ohne Titel (FO-117). sold at auction in June 2021 with the realized price of EUR 40,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2021 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion The Curator’s Eye: The Collection of Professor Dr Karin von Maur durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Ob-107) von Peter Roehr zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 30.000,00 und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Peter Roehr; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Ohne Titel (FO-117). im Juni 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 40.000,00.
